Relationship 101 | Attachment Styles Pt. 2 (Beliefs and Behaviors)

Do you know which attachment style you present when stressed out in relationship?

All of us learned how to best engage and protect ourselves in relationship. In our earliest interactions with caretakers, we learn what to expect in relationships, and that early learning follows us into adulthood.

Our romantic relationships with partners are HUGELY affected by our attachment style. Depending on what you experienced as a little one, you might lean in during a conflict; you might panic and fear your partner's going to abandon you; you might disappear into yourself and pull away...

Whatever your strategy for weathering those challenging moments in relationship, you'll find that learning your attachment style will help you create healthier patterns in the future.

Knowing this information about yourself can help you understand how you'll likely react to distress with a partner.

And once you understand your automatic reactions, you can change them!
