What to do when you're TRIGGERED

You know what it's like to feel sad or scared or angry because of relationship stress... but do you know how to calm yourself down and reconnect to the person you love?

Today on Practice Intimacy, I'm going to walk you through the steps you can take to calm yourself when you're triggered.

First, it's important to know what's happening in the brain when you're hurt or in a protective stance. I'll share a bit of the neuroscience behind feeling triggered, and then I'll share 3 practical steps to beginning soothing yourself.
